Less than a month left until 6th World Lithuanian economic forum. The final program aspects are being laid down also all names of the speakers are revealed. Already on 7th of July at conference centre of „Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva“ in Vilnius world Lithuanians will be discussing most important themes for Lithuania. Traditionally event is under the patronage of the President Dalia Grybauskaitė.

One of the most important themes in 6th world Lithuanian economic forum – education which is closely related to economics. “We are often talking about knowledge based economy, business which would refer to new technologies. How do we link it to education? Maybe it’s time to fundamentally reform education system in Lithuania? We expect that during this forum we will created ideas which will be useful not only for economics of but also for education“, – says the president of Lithuanian Business Confederation Valdas Sutkus.
In this traditional event world famous experts will discuss about education: educationist Austėja Landsbergienė, director of KTU gymnasium Bronislovas Burgis, medical doctor Feliksas Bukauskas, pedagogue Fore Kramarik and Nerijus Buivydas founder of public body “School of Success”
Economics and business will be represented by Stasys Kuliavas successful Lithuanian-Canadian businessman, “Garrick Advisory” general manager and specialist of urban planning Eglė Garrick also CEO and founder of Lithuanian-Israel Chamber of Commerce Len Judes.
“Harmonious economic growth is our goal. To achieve it we have to start from the roots. How should our children be taught in kindergartens? What are the most important things for growing children in the schools? How should we change universities that prepare specialists would be competitive in the market? We hope to answer these questions and give concrete proposals”, – says V.Sutkus.
