Having a comprehensive IP and litigation practice and more than 20 years’ experience behind, Vilija have managed to bring law firm’s IP legal practice in the Baltics to new level: under her supervision it was the first in the region to be internationally awarded with the Pan-Baltic Law firm Award for the Impact Intellectual Property Case of the Year (2019) and ranked as a leading at various international legal directories.
Vilija is also European Patent Attorney which has successful track record of clients’ representation in the State Patent Bureau of the Republic of Lithuania, the EUIPO and the European Patent Office (EPO) as well as World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Her assistance includes strategic advice and acting as lead counsel for multinational and local companies in trademarks and patent infringement cases, protection of inventions and know-how, designs and copyrights, IP agreements, unfair competition and defending their rights. To add more, she is also an appointed arbitrator in Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration.
