Baltic American Freedom Foundation (BAFF) and USLT Alumni invited GLL and its member Ingrida Bublys, Honorary General Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Ohio and President of IBInternational, to be the guests of honor at their Alumni Happy Hour. Both organizations unite people who had opportunities to study or work in the USA and returned to Lithuania to apply their knowledge and enthusiasm. Therefore, they drive their inspiration from exciting stories of effort and success.
The event took place on September 18th at Shakespeare Hotel. Ms Bublys kindly shared her career inspirations and factors motivating to work for Lithuania. She emphasized the importance of networking in building successful career and encouraged to take brave actions in search for useful connections.
The young people took the wise advise seriously and practiced their networking skills on the spot. It is very possible that some joint projects came to life the same night.
