GLL member Egle Garrick visited Lithuania at the end of June. Being born in Australia at the Australian-Lithuanian family, Egle has been re-visiting Lithuania since the 80’s during her personal holidays and has been earlier involved in some educational projects.
Ms. Garrick met the GLL Board Chair Dr. Vladas Lašas and CEO Dalia Petkevičienė to talk about the professional engagement in the field of urban planning and city development. Recently Ms. Garrick has taken the managing position at Urban Planning Department of Sydney, Australia. Earlier she was the General Manager at Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority. She has over 15 years-experience in municipal management positions of Sydney City with expertise in Urban Planning, Place Management, Heritage conservation, Media and Marketing, Knowledge and Culture, Transport & Logistics, Governance, Tourism & Hospitality, Industrial Relations.
GLL facilitated a meeting between Ms. Garrick and rector of ISM University Dr. Nerijus Pačėsa, as well as a meeting with the team of Vilnius City Municipality planning department.
Egle Garrick has agreed to join GLL Business Advisors programme and devote her time for sharing her expertise in Municipal Urban Planning, Australian market networks with Lithuanian institutions and targeted companies.
