Global Lithuanian Leaders has the ambition to expand its network towards the Latin American countries which are well known for numerous though less active Lithuanian communities. Lina Dusevičienė, GLL project manager, made use of the occasion created by Global Summit of Women which took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and visited Honorary Consul of Lithuania Luis Bandeira in Rio de Janeiro and Consul General of the Republic of Lithuanian in Brazil Laura Guobužaitė in Sao Paulo. Both dialogues concentrated on the necessity to establish professional links between two countries and find ways to engage Brazilian Lithuanians through GLL programs of LT Big Brother and GLL Business Advisors. All agreed that a meeting of professionals resembling recent events in the USA and Canada would be the most promising start to cooperation.
