Social climate in Lithuania is one of major concerns of Lithuanians abroad and reasons for emigration. GLL has joined Presidential Initiative Už saugią Lietuvą, as since 2013, it has taken active part in suicide prevention program started in Kupiškis and in cooperation with Rotary Lithuania recently expanded it to four more districts of Lithuania. On May 23, their local action groups were invited for introductory and inspirational meeting in Kupiškis where they met experts and activists of suicide prevention.
