Year 2015 witnessed the establishment of a number of Lithuanian professional clubs as platforms of networking and promotion of Lithuania in their countries of residence. In April, prominent Lithuanians of Toronto got together and founded Canadian Lithuanian Professional Group. In May, Lithuanians in Stockholm established Lithuanian Professional Club which keeps surprising by the variety of occasions to meet and promote Lithuania to Swedes. In July, Daiva Navarrette, nominee to Global Lithuanian Awards 2015, established Lithuanian World Arts Council to promote worldwide the arts and cultural development of Lithuania. Just recently, Los Angeles Lithuanian professionals announced their intention to get united by LABA.LA. We sincerely believe idea will spread even wider, and Lithuania will have a wide network of advocates in all parts of the world.
