The GLL Business Advisors is a program that brings together experienced international professionals from Lithuania to advise the country’s growing exporting companies, emerging innovators, and entrepreneurs. It connects passionate international Lithuanian experts who are dedicated to helping Lithuanian businesses in advancing.

WHO CAN BECOME A BUSINESS ADVISOR

Business Advisors are international professionals with Lithuanian affiliation eager to share their knowledge and expertise in international export-related fields, alongside their professional networks and connections.

You are welcome to become a Business Advisor if you:

  • Are a professional in your area of activities (business, public sector, academia);
  • Have a minimum of five years of international experience;
  • Are enthusiastic about contributing to the well-being of the home country;
  • Are able to allocate a voluntary number of hours (1 to 5) for advising Lithuanian businesses.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1. REGISTERING

Register to become a Business Advisor by completing a registration form.

Step 2. MATCHING

  • After receiving the inquiry from the applicant (Lithuanian company), GLL contacts the advisor who matches the qualifications required for providing advice to the company seeking assistance.
  • After receiving the advisor’s reply and confirmation of availability, GLL introduces the advisor to the company for further private communication.

Step 3. ADVISING

The advisor and the company agree on the time, place, means of communication, and conduct meetings within the specified scope.

Step 4. EVALUATING

GLL collects feedback from both the advisor and the company regarding the quality and actual impact of the consultation, as well as the necessity of the program in general.

Open call (limited state funded offer): apply for a fully funded one-time consultation with a Business Advisor during an open call (May-June of each year). Finding the target advisor and one-time consultation fee is covered by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania.

A free one-time consultation is limited to these sectors*: ICT, BioTech, Manufuture, MilTech, GovTech, Tourism.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1. APPLYING

Submit your application via a registration form. After receiving your company’s application, we will contact you to discuss your consultation needs and goals in more detail.

Step 2. MATCHING

  • After receiving the inquiry from the applicant (Lithuanian company), GLL contacts the advisor who matches the qualifications required for providing advice to the company seeking assistance.
  • After receiving the advisor’s reply and confirmation of availability, GLL introduces the advisor to the company for further private communication.
  • Before initiating the introduction, GLL sends you the invoice for the agreed participation fee to the company.

Step 3. ADVISING

The advisor and the company agree on the time, place, means of communication, and conduct meetings within the specified scope.

Step 4. EVALUATING

GLL collects feedback from both the advisor and the company regarding the quality and actual impact of the consultation, as well as the necessity of the program in general.
