Global Lithuanian Leaders Global Lithuanian Leaders (GLL) – Lithuania’s global network that unites talented professionals and individuals affiliated to Lithuania. Our mission is to connect Lithuania with the rest of the world by building a network of global citizens who take an active interest in the future of our country.
Vision
GLL’s ultimate goal is to become the largest global nework of talented professionals affiliated to Lithuania. GLL is seeking to contribute to Global Lithuania – prospering nation without borders by primeraly connecting and involving Lithuania‘s offshore population of expatriates and Lithuanian citizens who are willing to contribute to the continued economic, political, social, and cultural development in Lithuania through global engagement.
Network of Lithuania Affiliates
While GLL stands in the footprints of many world Lithuanian groups that have come before, this group is different because it is not exclusively for Lithuanians nor does it only seek to advance or preserve the cultural traditions.
Instead, GLL invites participation from any elite professional – (many of whom are Lithuanian) — who have something to contribute to redefining and strengthening Lithuania’s place in a globalized world. It is an independent, non-governmental and open organization. GLL coordinates and promotes networks of talented individuals from all over the world by providing virtual access to a community of businesspersons, scientists, government officials, civil servants, scholars, sport professionals and artists — all of whom identify with Lithuania in some way.
Registered participation in GLL provides access to elite professional connections, as well as priority access to talented Lithuania – affiliated individuals around the world, invitations to private events, and involvement in programs sponsored by GLL partners.GLL is also committed to supporting organizations and individuals who help grow the Lithuania economy through international trade, investment or other global ventures and help build Lithuania’s brand and reputation on the world stage.
GLL’s activities are relevant to more than just Lithuanians. We are building a truly global network for Lithuania, which is equally important to Lithuania based organizations and individuals who are pursuing global opportunities, as well as citizens of other countries who have an affinity and interest in Lithuania and related connections.
