GLL | Global Lithuanian Leaders, Lithuanian City of London Club (LCLC),  Wall Street Lithuanian Club and the Lithuanians working in Benelux and Scandinavian countries are inviting students to apply for the mentoring program “LT Big Brother”. This project seeks to establish a connection between young, motivated and perspective youth and the acknowledged Lithuanian professionals from abroad.

“LT Big Brother” project is for the last year’s bachelor and master degree students who are seriously interested in their future studies, professional practice or career perspectives in Lithuania and abroad. Each participant of this program is given a Big Brother or Sister – professionals who have achieved a successful career in their field and who can share their career and personal development experiences and answer to students’ questions. Mentoring is based on informal communication – meetings, chats or phone calls. Communication issues – from advices how to behave during a job interview to tips for a specific professional field.

Financial and economic experts, entrepreneurs and business consultants, lawyers, diplomats, academics and specialists in many other fields will help students to improve their future perspectives. Project mentors are located around the world in many different countries and among the participants are such companies and organizations as the World Bank, GetJar, Barclays, Citigroup, the Lithuanian diplomatic missions and many others.

The students’ selection for the program of the year 2013 is open until April 7. More information about the project and its terms can be found on the website www.ltbigbrother.com.
