Dr. Ignas Budvytis is Chief Strategy Officer at Distylled LTD, a young company founded in 2013 in Cambridge, UK which focuses on building a scientific knowledge recommendation engine Sparrho (www.sparrho.com). His role in Distylled involves working with the CEO and the team on planning, preparing for and executing strategic business decisions, such as fund-raising, strategic partnerships and customer intelligence. Prior to that Dr Budvytis was a research associate at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. His research focuses on the mathematical modeling and statistical data analysis of visual data.
In parallel Ignas is running a couple of start up’s focusing respectively on commercialization of video segmentation technology and business and strategy consulting. Ignas is well emerged in Cambridge and UK entrepreneurial community and is a keen organiser and supporter of various entrepreneurial initiatives in UK and Lithuania.
